Michelle Marie Fry, 46, of Pennsdale, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Cancer Treatment Center Of America, Philadelphia.

Born July 24, 1966, in Towanda, she was a daughter of Patricia and the late Russell Bacorn. She and her husband, Rodney L. Fry, celebrated 22 years of marriage on April 6, 2013.

Michelle was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who gave of herself unconditionally to make the lives of others easier. She was employed by the U.S. Postal Service as a rural mail carrier for 17 years, a position she truly loved. During that time, Michelle had the opportunity to meet and develop many lasting memories and relationships with the individuals on her routes.

Michelle was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed hunting, fishing and animals, especially her cat and dogs, Rowan, Gage, Amos and Tegan. She also enjoyed an occasional trip to Mohegan Sun, another favorite pastime.

Surviving, in addition to her husband and mother, are two daughters, Courteney P. Fry, of Pennsdale, and Kristina M. Chesnut, of Hop Bottom; a son, Dustin A. (Alicia) Fry, of Pennsdale; a step-son, Rodney L. Fry Jr.; three grandchildren; one sister; and four brothers.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 21 at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with Rev. GayAnn Gearhart officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Hughesville. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
